Over a 6 month period, AV skilled 40 young people in film, circus, drama and dance and supporting them to devise performance pieces that draw on their own experiences and stories.

The project sought to increase the self-confidence of, and education and employment opportunities for, marginalised young people facing diverse issues such as homelessness, low level of formal education, and parenting at a young age.

A free, multi-arts performance was staged on the main stage of the Queen Street Mall, Brisbane attracting significant audience numbers and positive editorial in The Courier Mail.

The project broke down significant barriers for many of the young people including access to University, housing and further employment.
